Our extra-large shiatsu mat “Made in Germany” is handmade with the greatest care in our own factory. It is ideal for shiatsu, Thai massage and any other form of bodywork practised on the floor.

Please note that our Shiatsu mats are made especially for you and therefore cannot be exchanged.
The Shiatsu mat has a sturdy twill cover, which is quilted directly to the fleece material. The cover meets Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is dyed in accordance with German regulations without the use of AZO dyes. The specially made fleece material consists of 70% cotton and 30% polyester fibre. The synthetic fibres ensure that the fleece remains elastic and dimensionally stable.

The standard shiatmat is filled with four layers of fleece and is sewn to the cover fabric using the futon-making technique. All futons have two sewn-on black synthetic straps that can be used to store the rolled-up mat. As a rule, the standard four layers of fleece (approx. 5 kg per square metre) are sufficient, as a mat that is too soft can cause the mattress to sink too much. We also offer shiatsu mats with five layers for those who need more volume.

• 4-layer approx. 5 - 6 cm
• 5-layer approx. 6 - 7 cm
• 6 layers approx. 7–8 cm

Please note that our dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly! In addition, the shiatsu mats may be slightly compressed during shipping and therefore appear smaller than when cut. Lay the mats flat and stretch them a little.
