What is a Shiatsu mat and how does it work?

A Shiatsu mat is a pressure point mat that works according to the principles of acupressure and Shiatsu massage. The mat contains hundreds of small pressure points that gently press against the skin when you lie or stand on it. This stimulation promotes blood circulation, relaxes the muscles and helps release tension.

With regular use, Shiatsu mats can help reduce energy blockages, improve energy flow and bring the body into balance. Users often experience immediate relief from stiff muscles, mental unrest and fatigue.

Shiatsu mats are suitable for most people, but less suitable for:

  • open wounds or sensitive skin problems
  • serious heart problems
